Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background in PCB design and debugging to join my client's engineering team. In this role, you will work on developing, testing, and optimizing embedded systems for their advanced EV components. Your contributions will directly impact the performance, safety, and efficiency of their electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for EV systems, including battery management, motor controllers, and other subsystems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to design and debug PCBs for embedded applications.
• Integrate, test, and validate embedded systems in both simulation and real-world environments.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
• Contribute to the development of system architecture and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Document designs, test results, and software code.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in PCB design and debugging tools.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with microcontroller platforms (e.g., STM32, ARM Cortex).
• Experience with PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCAD).
• Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, UART, I2C, SPI).
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• French and English speaking skills are both required.
