Job Description

As a GCP Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers’ cloud environments are secure, optimized, and operating at peak performance.

  • You’ll be the first point of contact for technical issues related to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and will provide support through various communication channels.
  • Additionally, you’ll contribute to the automation of routine tasks and help improve our processes for efficient troubleshooting and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain customer environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Act as the primary contact for technical issues related to GCP infrastructure, responding via ticket systems (e.g., Jira), Google Meet, email, and phone.
  • Document troubleshooting processes, workflows, and instructions in Jira and Confluence.
  • Configure and manage GCP services and applications based on customer requirements.
  • Provide support for user onboarding/offboarding and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate on the continuous improvement of communication, support, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting tools, contributing to the development and maintenance of automation workflows.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and pursue certifications and training to enhance your GCP expertise.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, tools, and architecture.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Knowledge of other operating systems such as MacOS, iOS, and Android is a plus.
  • Experience in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash is highly desirable.
