Lead Backend Engineer (PHP)

We're seeking a Lead Backend Engineer (PHP) to join our Platform Admin Team, where we build powerful capabilities to ensure seamless operations for users and organizations alike.

Here's what you'll help us create:

Workspaces: Intuitive environments for data access control, team collaboration, and resource management, enabling users to navigate and manage their workflows effortlessly.

User & Team Management: Granular access control systems to assign roles, manage team members, and secure their operations with confidence.

Usage Optimization: Analytics and insights that help customers track, understand, and optimize their product usage.

Your day-to-day work and responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development of new features and functionalities for our customers
• Planning new initiatives and features
• Close collaboration and interaction with other teams.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards.
• Support and share knowledge with your colleagues.
• Improving systems monitoring and alerting
• Utilizing existing monitoring tools to ensure system stability

This role is for you if you have:

• 7+ years of back-end experience working with PHP (Core)
• Previous experience in a Tech Lead role
• Experience working with API integrations
• Ability to conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
• Good understanding of architecture & software design
• Good grasp of the software testing discipline
• Understanding of security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Fluent communication in English
• Ability to give effective feedback
  
  
  

Nice to have skills:

• Understanding of monitoring tools and ability to interpret monitoring data. This includes tools such as Datadog, OpenSearch, Grafana, etc., which are used to track application performance and system metrics.
