Role And Responsibilities

Develop, architect and scale the core infrastructure for Sinch's Conversational AI offering. Be part of a multi-functional team that sets its own objectives and goals with responsibility for every stage of product development life cycle from planning and design to implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring and maintenance.

Your work will be focused around building critical front-end and backend systems that make up the core of the product line; The code you write will be consumed by used by many different teams and is a key enabler in the product line. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team that writes code that has a high impact throughout the organization, and it is paramount that it meets our level of excellence!

Tech stack: Golang, Typescript, Node JS, Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Postgres, Click House, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, React.

Requirements

In order to contribute to this role, you have:

• Excellent communication and ability to influence both technical individual contributors and business stakeholders.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Lead a team of Engineers as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager for at least 2 years.
• Experience with being accountable for all things in your team including the product engineering, quality of the implemented solutions, hiring and the performance of your team.
• Experience with being capable of being hands-on when needed and can help the team in technical discussions where it makes sense.
• Experience building services, or tooling, that other developers used to build or run their workload.
• Experience building, launching and running mission-critical, high-performance, distributed, fault tolerant systems.
• Experience in the High-Level languages Go and Node.JS.
• Experience working in a customer focused environment, ideally within a SaaS or subscription business.
• Familiar with IaC / GitOps and related CI/CD toolset.
• Experience in supporting other engineers in the organisation.
• Fluency in English.
