Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Operations Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will monitor, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in networking, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.

• Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.

• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on network hardware and software.

• Implement network security measures to safeguard infrastructure from threats.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve connectivity issues.

• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.

• Analyze network performance and generate reports to identify improvement areas.

• Participate in incident management and on-call support rotations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in network operations or a similar role.

• Proficiency with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and tools.

• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark).

• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPNs, and network security best practices.

• Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Understanding of SD-WAN and network automation tools.
