Network Engineer (Stuttgart or Dublin)

We're looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in Stuttgart or Dublin. You will join a team-based work environment focused on delivering solutions that meet challenging requirements.

You will report to the Senior Manager of IT Operations.

You will design and manage traditional, cloud and hybrid network technologies, load-balancers, firewalls, remote access systems, SD-WAN and network automation.

Technology You'll Use

• Cisco routing and switching
• AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI cloud platforms
• Enterprise grade wireless networking technologies
• Palo Alto firewalls
• On-premise and cloud-based network automation technologies
• SDWAN technology
• F5 load balancers
  
  

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Manage and design cloud and data center class network technologies centered around Cisco and multi cloud-based infrastructure
• Integrate traditional on-premise network infrastructure with cloud-based network technology
• Maintain Palo Alto firewall technologies to provide a high degree of security and resilience is maintained at all time
• Maintain a SDWAN infrastructure, centred around Palo Alto SDWAN technologies
• Enable high availability, SSL acceleration and SSL offloading through F5 Big IP technology
  
  

What We'd Like to See

• You use your skills to develop and implement enterprise-grade network infrastructure that is efficient, scalable, resilient and secure in its design.
• You will be a contributor in a lean and IT organization of over 400 people who are aligned in several geographically dispersed centres supporting an employee base of over 5,000 people in 25 countries.
  
  

Role Essentials

• Four-year degree in Information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an background of experience that merits equivalency.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in Cisco-Based Network Engineering in an important 24x7 environment
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IaaS/PaaS role on Public Cloud.
