Job description:

Our team of engineers collaborate, with other teams and the customer, on delivering projects within following domains:

SDWAN

WAN MPLS IPVN networks called Explore

Shared Firewalls called Explore Security

You’ll work within a team of experts, operating within both national and international context.

Duties and responsibilities:

The SDWAN Network Engineer will be part of a team that is responsible for (SD)WAN and security and will have a focus on SDWAN.

Main responsibilities:

1. Validate design and solutions in the field of (SD)WAN and discuss them with presales and success managers.
2. Discuss (SD)WAN solutions with customers and suggest improvements if necessary.
3. Implement (SD)WAN solutions as defined with the customer and carry out the required performance tests.
4. Plan and create migration documentation (scenario/actions/responsibilities) and execute them.
5. Execute change requests and manage incident tickets (with Root Cause Analysis, if necessary)
6. Collaborating with our engineering teams and senior level colleagues within other technology teams for integrated solutions.
7. Remote and on-site interventions can be during or outside business hours.

Technical knowledge:

• You have at least 5 years of experience in WAN (MPLS, IPVPN) and/or SD-WAN networks (vendors Fortinet, Meraki)
• Experience of network security is a plus (Firewalls vendors Palo Alto, Fortinet)

Other requirements:

• Fluency in French (written and orally)
• Good knowledge of English and Dutch (written and orally)
• Willing to provide support outside of business hours and becoming part of an on-call guard.
