About the Company

CMB set up a branch that provides commercial banking services in Luxembourg in March 2015 and acts as the gateway and regional headquarter of CMB group in Continental Europe. In May 2021, China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd., has the subsidies-China Merchants Bank (Europe) S.A. in Luxembourg.



Responsibilities


  • Providing support to Head of Human Resources in various HR linked fields.
  • General support in the implementation of HR strategies, policies and practices enhancing the effectively of the HR tasks.
  • Participating in the development of relevant HR rules and regulations, as well as integrated management.
  • Implementation of recruitment and selection, management of Luxembourg immigration aspects.
  • Application/renewal of employment and related passes for expatriates.
  • Supervising the new employee boarding, training, and appraisement and employee relationship management.
  • Participating in the development of human resources management information system.
  • Supervising the absence management (annual leave, sickness, maternity/paternity leave, etc.).
  • Assisting in organizing and developing new and existing HR services.
  • Obtaining knowledge regarding local Labor Law and relevant regulations, as well as tax regulations.
  • Responsible for establishing and implementing HR administrative things and organizing employee activities.



Qualifications


  • A relevant Bachelor degree in human resources, finance, business administrative, labor law or similar.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a commercial bank, financial institution, consulting firm experience is a plus.
  • Have extensive knowledge about the Luxembourg working legislation, labor law, individual tax, and remuneration and benefit systems.
  • Fluent in English and French is essential (spoken and written). Chinese and/or German would be an asset.
  • Familiar with HR information system and MS Office.
  • Deal with employee’s queries in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Have an organized working style and are stress resistant.
  • Ability to multi-task and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a multi-culture environment.
