Fullstack PHP Engineer

As a Fullstack PHP Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel and MySQL. You will work closely with a dynamic development team to deliver robust technical solutions, ensure code quality through reviews, and optimize performance. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and enhance both frontend and backend web applications using PHP (Laravel) and MySQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and robust solutions.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Continuously improve application performance and architecture.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in fullstack development with PHP and MySQL.
• Proficiency in Laravel or similar frameworks.
• Experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of database management and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Employment Conditions:

• Type of contract: Contractor.
• Work model: Hybrid, with at least 3 days per month at our office in Gloucester, UK, and the rest remote.
• Commitment: Full-time.
• Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience.
