Our client is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join their team in Stockholm. The company is well-established, with decades of success in delivering innovative solutions to support critical business operations. They are now embarking on a modernization journey to enhance their digital product suite and provide even greater value to their partners and customers.

The Role

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and developing modern, user-friendly web interfaces for the company’s flagship products. The focus is on creating solutions that improve user experience, streamline workflows, and support a wide range of business processes within the automotive and logistics sectors.

The company is investing in a large-scale modernization initiative, transitioning legacy systems to a more scalable and efficient infrastructure. The successful candidate will work with React as the primary framework to build new features, optimize existing applications, and ensure seamless integration with back-end systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement user-friendly, scalable, and maintainable front-end features using React.
• Collaborate with back-end developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize web applications for performance and usability across devices and browsers.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Contribute to team discussions about architecture, technology stack, and project improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with React and a solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency in building responsive and dynamic web applications.
• Familiarity with modern development tools and libraries, such as Redux, Webpack, and TypeScript.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and working in environments with microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Fluency in Swedish (spoken and written) is a requirement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices.
• Exposure to UX/UI design principles.
