Full Stack Engineer, Co-worker Entry Point, Group Digital

WHO YOU ARE

You have a passion for technology, welcome change, and love learning. As a person, you are innovative and work towards cutting modern architecture and requirements into place. It suits you to work cross-functionally both independently and interdependently, with the support of a vast software engineering network and agile methods.

For this recruitment, experience from testing and/or UX will give you an extra edge in the process. Are you skilled in Figma or Photoshop, or have experience from planning and running software tests, we will love you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As a Fullstack Engineer in Co-worker Entry Point, you will be part of a team that delivers “Hej”, a personalized portal for Ingka’s 170,000+ co-workers. "Hej” aggregates and collects relevant information and applications for our co-workers to help them navigate the digital landscape and stay informed during the workday.

You will develop, test, deploy and support our solution. Often you will also get the opportunity to cooperate with users, stakeholders and other teams. The work will range from building beautiful and functional UI to integrating with other solutions.

Our tech stack consists of (but not limited to):

- Angular
- Node.JS/NestJS
- Cloud Run on Google Cloud
- PostgreSQL
- Terraform
- Git, GitHub and GitHub Actions
- JIRA and Confluence

We expect you to be tech-agnostic. You should feel comfortable working with a variety of technologies.

Experience with cloud-native app development on GCP – you have a good understanding of databases, serverless and you understand how to use cloud-native in production.

The “Hej” portal strives to inspire all our co-workers with the IKEA vision, stories and insights while providing easily accessible and relevant content.

The portal has around 130k active users per month.
