Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Senior SRE Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, cloud technologies, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.

Reponsibilities

•Automate repetitive tasks and streamline deployment processes using configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) to increase efficiency.

•Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.

•Monitor system performance and reliability, and implement proactive measures to ensure uptime and availability.

•Automate repetitive tasks and streamline deployment processes to increase efficiency.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.

•Implement and enforce best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery.

•Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents in a timely manner.

•Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development.

Qualificaitons

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, Statistics (or equivalent experience).

• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a SRE Engineer, DevOps or System Administration.

• At least 3+ years of experience working with container management platforms including Rancher, Openshift, GKE, AKS, EKS or Docker.

• At least 3+ years of experience working with virtualization platforms including VMware,Kubernetes or KVM.

• Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting kubernetes internals, CNI, CRI and CSI plugins (e.g. Docker, Cri-O, Ceph, Vmware, Cilium), load balancing (e.g. MetalLB, Nginx, Traefik), Service Mesh (e.g. Istio).

• Apply IaaC practices, at least 3+ years of experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform.

• Apply CI/CD and Gitops practices, manage Kubernetes-based environments with Azuredevops and ArgoCD.

• Strong experience monitoring systems knowledge. Installation and management of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Elastic, Zabbix, Grafana, etc.).

• Strong experience receiving, reading and deep analysis audit, syslog, and application logs with ELK, Fluentd or APM Tools.

• Experience creating scripts for repetitive business processes (Shell, Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.).

• In-depth knowledge and experience in Linux enterprise environment administration including Ubuntu, Debian, and Centos. Unix and Windows knowledge are plus.

• Strong knowledge of Complex IT systems and networks, software, hardware, and networking protocols. Solid comprehension of the OSI model, DNS, NTP, and vLANs, among other networking and security essentials.
