DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer (Global Investment Bank)

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a background in banking or financial environments. This role involves maintaining time-series databases, driving automation, managing deployments, and enhancing system reliability in a fast-paced global setup.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the OneTick time-series database (service configuration, graph queries, admin tasks).
• Develop automation scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Python) to streamline operations.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, BitBucket, Octopus, Maven.
• Oversee Linux and Windows infrastructure, performing environment setup, log analysis, and process management.
• Implement and utilize observability tools (Grafana, ElasticSearch, Fluent-bit, OpenTelemetry).
• Standardize and automate processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate on documentation and promote an engineering culture of innovation.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and communication stacks (RabbitMQ, Kafka, WebSocket).
• Knowledge of observability tools and infrastructure management for both Linux and Windows.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with OneTick database and distributed architectures.
• Agile methodology experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Banking or financial sector background.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a global team.
