The Opportunity:

The Role:

Support the ongoing digitisation of the UK’s defence and intelligence communities, collaborating with high-performing, multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end features and cloud-native applications.

Build robust, scalable digital platforms that enable teams to continuously develop microservices-based solutions, driving improvements through automation and infrastructure-as-code.

Required Skills/Experience:

• British Passport Holder with active UKIC DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance.
• Previous Defence, Military, Policing, National Security, Counter Terrorism, or Justice Project involvement.
• Proficiency in software development and a passion for writing code.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, and/or Python software development.
• Demonstrable understanding of working in teams, particularly in agile methodologies such as Scrum & Kanban.
• Delivering cloud-native and containerised applications using AWS Lambda, Spring Boot, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ELK.
• Building solutions as part of a DevOps and Agile ecosystem supported by tooling including Atlassian, Jenkins, OWASP, and AWS componentry.

Benefits:

• Base Salary: £45,000 - £75,000 (DoE)
• DV Bonus: Up to £7,000
