Join a startup on a mission to fight financial crime, and reduce scams in online banking payments!

You’ll be taking very high ownership in this role working closely with the Engineering Lead on building resilient, scalable systems working on topics like security and compliance, dealing with highly sensitive data

You’ll work with a team of 5 other Software Engineers & ideally you’re at the Staff / Principal level to lead projects as complexity demand increases from their initial banking customers

⚙️ Tech Snapshot: Kotlin, Typescript, React, GCP, Terraform, GraphQL, Apollo + more

Ideal candidates will have:

• 8+ years commercial experience designing and building scalable, reliable backend services using JVM technologies (Kotlin preferred, but Java or Scala is also great)
• Experience building and scaling products for early-stage companies. You’ve built things from scratch before in an ambiguous environment & can deliver at pace
• A product-mindset. Constantly driving to add value for customers
• Ideally, you’ve worked in a regulated environment e.g. FinTech or HealthTech
