Are you an experienced Fullstack Engineer looking for a new challenge? Join a dynamic and innovative team where you will have the opportunity to build high-performing, scalable web applications using modern technologies like React, Next.js, Node.js, and AWS services. You will work on both frontend and backend systems, creating seamless user experiences and optimising performance across the full stack.

What You’ll Do

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end solutions across both frontend and backend systems.
  • Building and enhancing responsive user interfaces using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS to deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Developing and optimising backend services and APIs using Node.js (TypeScript/JavaScript) or Scala, integrating with GraphQL or REST-based data layers.
  • Working with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) frameworks like Next.js or Remix to build high-performance web applications.
  • Collaborating with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Optimising application performance and reliability across the frontend and backend.
  • Leveraging AWS services like Kinesis, S3, EventBridge, and SNS to build cloud-native applications.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while contributing to modern development practices, including CI/CD, testing, and agile methodologies.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments.

About You

  • 3+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on both frontend and backend technologies.

Frontend Expertise

  • Proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling tools like TailwindCSS.
  • Knowledge of UI development best practices (responsive design, accessibility, and component-driven development).
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and REST API integration.

Backend Expertise

  • Proficiency in either Node.js (TypeScript/JavaScript) or Scala, with a willingness to work across both stacks.
  • Experience with databases and ORM tools (e.g., Prisma for Node.js, Doobie for Scala).
  • Understanding of functional programming concepts.

Cloud Expertise

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services like Kinesis, S3, EventBridge, SNS, and SSM.
  • Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration tools.

Testing And Quality

  • Proficiency in modern testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, ScalaTest, or React Testing Library.
  • A focus on building maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.
