Software Engineer II, Google Search

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with machine learning, data analysis, search quality, or large language model.
• Experience with building classifiers, machine learning, ranking, research background.

Responsibilities

• Work with the latest technologies, including Gemini, to build classifiers from simple and fast linear models to deep neural networks.
• Collect data and analyze it.
• Find ways to improve Google's search results.
• Prototype new ranking algorithms.
