SENIOR JAVA ENGINEER, DIGITAL FINANCE TEAM, $1100 PER DAY, HYBRID, SYDNEY

• Coding in Java, React, Java Spring, and SQL experience is 100% necessary
• AWS, SaaS experience is a bonus
• Day rate: $1100 per day (negotiable based on experience)

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Senior Java Engineer, you’ll take ownership of developing, implementing, and maintaining advanced technologies that drive our leadership in digital finance.

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Spring Boot.
• Build user interfaces for customer-facing applications using React JS and Redux.
• Write clean, modular, and scalable code.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Solve complex technical challenges and support team members in problem resolution.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE...

• 7+ years of commercial experience, preferably in financial services or banking.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React JS, Redux, Node JS, and SQL.
• A collaborative spirit and strong problem-solving skills.
• A passion for automation and efficiency.
• Experience with Kafka, Splunk, or App Dynamics is highly desirable.

IT’S NICE TO HAVE...

• Familiarity with AWS or SaaS environments.
• Knowledge of cards and digital payments is a plus.
