We are seeking a highly skilled Program Change & Communications Manager for a 6-month contract based in Melbourne CBD, offering hybrid working arrangements.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead impactful change initiatives, create meaningful communication strategies, and engage with stakeholders to deliver transformational outcomes.

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will design and embed change management processes to support organisational growth and transformation. Working within a dynamic and greenfield environment, you will ensure stakeholders are equipped to embrace change and that communication across all levels is clear, consistent, and engaging.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building Change Readiness: Establish and implement practical frameworks to drive successful adoption of change initiatives, while guiding leaders and teams through the transition.
  • Shaping Communication Strategies: Develop and deliver impactful messaging to support the program's objectives, ensuring alignment and engagement across the organisation.
  • Fostering Stakeholder Engagement: Build collaborative relationships and provide guidance to ensure stakeholders are well-supported in understanding and embracing changes.

About You

You are an accomplished change management professional with extensive experience delivering transformation in fast-paced or undefined environments. You bring exceptional communication skills, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and a passion for fostering a culture of adaptability.

Your profile includes:

  • Essential Experience:

    • Proven success in leading change management initiatives within complex or greenfield environments.
    • Expertise in partnering with technical teams and senior leadership to deliver organisational transformation.
    • Strong skills in managing resistance, engaging stakeholders, and driving adaptability.
    • Advanced qualifications in change management (e.g., Agile Change Leadership, Prosci).
    • 8-10+ years' experience in delivering large-scale, impactful change programs.
  • Desirable Skills:

    • Experience within state or federal government environments.
    • Knowledge of the energy industry, including Australian retail energy processes and regulations.
