Java Application Architect

We currently have a vacancy for a Java Application Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.

Your tasks:

• Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
• Data analysis and data modelling;
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture;
• Production of software architecture documents;
• Create designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture;
• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components;
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting;
• Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud.

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
• Specific Expertise in Java & Cloud technologies;
• Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns;
• Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud;
• Good knowledge of applications design;
• Good knowledge of modelling tools;
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;
• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS;
• Good knowledge of business process analysis;
• Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture);
• Excellent command of the English language.
