We're on the hunt for a driven and dynamic Machine Learning & Data Analytics Engineer to join the exciting world of IoT and Data Analytics on behalf of one of our incredible clients. Your Role:
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights that will make a real impact. Think improving operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and helping customers get the most from their data. What You'll Be Doing:
- Turning Data into Actionable Insights: You'll explore data at a granular level, identifying trends and areas for improvement to help the business make smarter decisions.
- Improving Processes with Innovation: Leverage machine learning to refine existing processes, driving improvements that make a tangible impact on efficiency and performance.
- Predicting Failures Before They Happen: Apply predictive models to foresee potential faults and take proactive measures, ensuring operations run smoothly and with minimal disruption.
- Developing Cutting-Edge Applications: Build scalable, future-ready software that merges seamlessly with machine learning models and data analytics frameworks, enhancing industrial applications.
- Shaping the Team's Vision: Play a key role in growing and developing the Data Analytics team by bringing new ideas, pushing the boundaries with emerging technologies, and fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.
What We're Looking For:
- Master's degree in mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong software development skills, especially with Python (a must-have). Knowledge of C# or Node.js is a plus.
- Experience with machine learning, anomaly detection, and process optimization techniques.
- Familiar with industrial protocols and tools like Redis, MQTT, Docker, Kubernetes, Data Lakes, and Analytics tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate and contribute to a team environment.
- Fluent in Dutch
Location & Work Arrangement: This role is based in Ghent, Belgium and is open only to candidates currently residing there. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing flexibility with both remote and onsite work.
