As our new Security Operations Engineer, you will join our Cyber Security Center of Excellence. You will get the opportunity to work with diverse and complex security challenges, both with our internal tooling and customer environments. You will be involved in leading security initiatives and leveraging our identity, network, and security solutions to enhance our overall security posture. Additionally, you will proactively engage with our customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing and maintaining security architecture and tooling to automate deployment and management of security capabilities as well as detecting and reacting to cybersecurity threats
- Designing, developing, and continuously improving security capabilities, controls, and processes for public cloud environments
- Studying and staying up to speed on threats and cyber-attack techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) relevant to the scope of the service
- Focusing, mastering, and staying up to date with cloud services, security solutions and related products
Your Competencies:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a cyber security role
- 2+ years of experience in public cloud security, including cloud security posture management, DevSecOps practices and/or SIEM solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud solution architecture and engineering, ideally with Azure
- Practical knowledge of cloud automation and scripting, including cloud functions and infrastructure as code development
