Network Administrator

Due to continued growth and development, an award-winning FinTech business is looking to add to its talented team. The Network Administrator will be instrumental in maintaining and building the technical foundations of the business, through innovation and the introduction of new ideas.

This role will be primarily on-site, so you must be willing and able to be present in the Frankfurt office regularly. Relocators from other parts of Germany or Europe are welcome if they hold the correct working permission.

The Network Administrator will:

• Solve complex issues across a breadth of different technologies
• Innovate to improve the infrastructure estate - provide stability, security, and performance, enabling the business to achieve its goals
• Completion of daily operations and long-term projects.
• Contribute to out of hours maintenance work as part of an on-call rota

To be successful, the Network Administrator should have the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience of Network Administration with a focus on Juniper equipment (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Strong knowledge of BGP routing protocols and static routing configurations
• Scripting for network automation eg Python
• Strong knowledge in Linux and systems management
• Excellent problem solver with a successful record of troubleshooting complex issues
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to clearly communicate events and thoughts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Fluency in English
