User Experience Writer

UX/Content Designer/Writer | Dublin (100% Remote) | Initial 6 Months Contract

Experis have partnered with a Global Tech client in Dublin looking to recruit a fully remote UX Designer/Writer for an initial 6 month contract.

Role Summary:

As a writer, your portfolio showcases your ability to convey complex ideas through content that is clear, approachable, and conversational. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the product and design teams to craft effective UI that feels both warm and easy to understand. You’ll establish guidelines and best practices, lead complex cross-functional initiatives, and partner with teams to define objectives and create actionable roadmaps to achieve them.

Your work will involve collaborating with a wide range of professionals, including researchers, product managers, engineers, marketers, and business stakeholders. In every interaction, you’ll advocate for conversational, inclusive language and ensure a consistent voice across products and platforms. You’ll use a mix of empathy, logic, and data to inform your content decisions, offering recommendations that pair the right words with supporting visuals and data.

While most of your focus will be on product UX, you may also assist teams in creating and publishing online help articles related to the products you support. With multiple product groups needing content design expertise, you’ll help define and manage the request and triage process, ensuring clarity around your team’s backlog and setting expectations for those seeking your assistance.

Additionally, as our client explores how generative AI (like Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) can enhance their work, you may play a role in defining and implementing AI-driven tools to support content designers and their partners in product and design.

Key Experience Required:

• Previous experience as a content designer/UX writer.
• Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, screenwriting, English, communications, journalism, linguistics, technical writing, UX Human Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in user-focused product writing including work in hardware, software, digital agencies, or other relevant product areas.
• Experience in shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects.
• A portfolio demonstrating breadth, creativity, and experience in content writing, storytelling and/or UX writing. Please indicate your specific roles and contributions for each project submitted as part of the portfolio.
• Collaborative and the ability to work autonomously.
• Handle incoming requests (triage, set expectations back to teams).
• Figma skills are invaluable.
