Machine Learning Specialist (Cyber Threat Management)

*** The successful candidate will be able to work Remotely (within Ireland) circa 80% of the time.
This opportunity is very much at the intersection of Machine Learning & Cyber Security..
This role involves developing and optimizing machine learning models to both detect and prevent Cyber threats.
My client are clearly being proactive about Cyber Threats and have put some real thought into this role specification!
They feel that Machine Learning models are going to prove vital in the ongoing battle to protect their organisation & it's Security posture against 'Threat Actors'..
Therefore, they are keen to speak with individuals who can "Develop & implement Machine learning models to identify & respond to Cybersecurity threats."
This client have always prioritised the management of their Threat landscape and due to various acquisitions over this past while, their 'Attack-surface' has broadened, with the result being a clear need for Talented 'Machine-learning' Engineers who understand Cyber and the importance of Threat Management to join their growing AI/ML Engineering team!

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models to identify and respond to cybersecurity threats.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity SMEs, security analysts, and engineers to identify and address complex cybersecurity challenges.
- Optimize machine learning models for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity Engineers and Analysts to integrate machine learning models into cybersecurity platforms.
- Conduct experiments and evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics.
- Assist in the creation of technical documentation and reports.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and cybersecurity.
- Support the Principal Machine Learning Engineer in research and development activities.
