Network Engineer


The Network Engineer will join the IT Operations team. In this role, you will have a pivotal part in designing, managing, and optimizing a complex global network infrastructure that spans data centers, cloud environments, and worldwide office locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, deploy, and manage advanced network infrastructures to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
  • Configure and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls, enhancing network security and mitigating threats.
  • Manage Cisco Meraki switches, routers, and access points, ensuring robust and secure connections.
  • Administer cloud networking solutions on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including VPNs, VPCs, and security groups.
  • Optimize and maintain WAF/CDN infrastructures for secure and efficient content delivery.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to automate network provisioning and management.
  • Develop DevOps pipelines and scripts using PowerShell to automate routine network tasks and streamline deployments.
  • Monitor network availability and promptly respond to incidents to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Establish and maintain site-to-site IPSEC VPNs with global partners.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and recommend improvements to enhance infrastructure.
  • Document processes, configurations, and procedures to maintain operational consistency.
  • Support business operations outside normal hours through participation in an on-call rotation.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to foster professional growth.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level networking as a Network Engineer or similar role.
  • Expertise in core networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, switching, subnetting, BGP, IPSEC VPNs).
  • Proficiency with Palo Alto Firewalls, including policy management.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade Cisco networking hardware and cloud-based management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking in AWS, Azure, and GCP, including WAF/CDN infrastructures like Cloudflare.
  • Practical experience with Terraform, PowerShell, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Datadog, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in complex, multi-cloud environments.
  • Effective communication skills to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: PCNSE, CCNP, or AWS/Azure/GCP certifications.
  • Experience with SASE tools (e.g., Prisma Access).
  • Proficiency in Cisco Meraki hardware and management platforms.
