Among the European leaders in Wealth Management and Enterprise Risk Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a .NET Developer to join the IT team in its Bologna office.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Development of a Cloud-Native Enterprise software solution, with microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes) and Web-based client, dedicated to the production and monitoring of risk indicators in the area of Anti-Money-Laundering (AML)


• Participating in activities as analysis sharing, problem solving, creation of technical documentation and software design, implementation, testing within the team’s development projects.


• Use of a wide range of technologies and paradigms: cloud technologies and services Microsoft Azure, Web-API via C# language in Visual Studio environment, NET Core, multithreading, relational and non-relational database management/modelling


• Strong commitment to code optimization to maximize performance and scalability of processes CPU-intensive and I/O-Intensive application processes. Mastery of parallel programming techniques and concurrent programming.


• Application of Lean and Agile practices; in particular, development of structured solutions adhering to software engineering practices, writing unit and integration tests


• Supporting the quality expectations of produced solutions through the use of QA tools, including Static code analysis and personal contribution to delivery processes and policies


• Participation in the continuous improvement of production processes and technological innovation


• Collaborating with senior resources with the aim of sharing project objectives and critical issues, while maximizing autonomy and professional growth


REQUIREMENTS:


• Master's degree in computer engineering or scientific disciplines (computer science, physics, mathematics)


• Multi-year xperience in designing and implementing complex software solutions


• Interest in developing Cloud-Native solutions with microservices architecture (Docker, K8S)


• Knowledge of C#, technologies and services provided by Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB), analytical skills, and possession of Microsoft certifications will be considered a plus.

• Good interpersonal skills

• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
