Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute the organization’s AI vision, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives to foster innovation and growth. Lead the exploration and evaluation of emerging AI methodologies and tools.
  • Spearhead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven applications and systems.
  • Work closely with diverse teams to pinpoint and capitalize on opportunities for integrating AI into business processes.
  • Investigate cutting-edge AI advancements, assessing their relevance and proposing actionable use cases.
  • Guide and mentor a team of AI professionals, fostering skill development and ensuring timely, high-quality project execution.
  • Evaluate AI systems’ effectiveness, identifying areas for refinement and applying adjustments to enhance outcomes. Regularly optimize models and algorithms for precision and reliability.
  • Stay informed on AI trends by attending industry events, engaging with experts, and participating in relevant forums.
  • Develop and present AI use cases, conduct workshops, and lead training sessions to embed AI into the organizational culture.
  • Maintain and update AI frameworks, architectural roadmaps, and operational guidelines, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Partner with product teams to deliver AI and data-powered features, driving innovation in the product portfolio.
  • Establish and maintain robust data governance practices focusing on quality, usage, security, and regulatory compliance.


Profile

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience with a proven track record in the AI domain, including the successful development and deployment of AI solutions.
  • Fluency in both English and French, written and spoken.
  • Solid knowledge of Generative AI (Gen AI), Machine Learning (ML), and other advanced technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve measurable outcomes within a short timeframe, ideally delivering value within 4-6 months in prior roles.
  • Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leaders, product managers, and technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies and a commitment to leveraging emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving projects from concept to completion.
  • Proven history of implementing governance frameworks, particularly in data management and compliance.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions
  • Strong ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, coupled with excellent collaboration skills.
