Project Manager - Telecom Software Solutions

Location: Netherlands

Are you an experienced project manager with a strong background in delivering software solutions for complex telecom networks? We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead the successful integration of software solutions for tier-1 telecom clients, focusing on 4G and 5G technologies.

In this role, you will work closely with both our customers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high standards of quality. If you have a track record of managing large-scale technical projects, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Project Delivery: Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of software solutions, handling all technical, commercial, and organizational aspects from start to finish.
• Oversee Customer Process: Manage the entire customer delivery process, from pre-sales handover to post-delivery support and project closure.
• Develop Project Plans: Create detailed project schedules, work statements, and plans that are tailored to the specific needs and challenges of the customer’s environment.
• Coordinate Resources: Ensure the right internal, third-party, and customer resources are in place to implement the project plan effectively.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders, keeping everyone informed and aligned on project goals.
• Lead the Team: Guide and motivate both internal teams and customer personnel to ensure smooth project deployment and readiness.
• Monitor Progress: Track project scope, quality, and progress, addressing risks and ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained throughout.
• Collaborate on Software Releases: Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between project timelines and software release schedules.
• Ensure Customer Acceptance: Manage the completion of the project, including obtaining customer approval and transitioning the project to support teams.
• Improve Processes: Work with leadership to improve and streamline delivery processes, specifically for large-scale customer projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Education & Certification: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Technology, with certifications in project management (PMI, PRINCE2, IPMA, etc.).
• Experience: Proven experience managing complex solution delivery projects, ideally in the Telecom industry, for large customers.
• Technical Skills: Strong experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
• Customer-Focused: A proactive approach to ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, meeting the needs and expectations of customers.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to different stakeholders.
• Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects at once and adapt to changing customer needs and business priorities.
• Location: Based in the Netherlands, with occasional international travel to customer sites.
