Sustainability Data Analyst
Introduction
Within Corporate EHS (Environment, Health and Safety), we play a key role in delivering environmental data for annual reporting and supporting the business sectors with data analysis on waste and emissions. Currently, we are seeking an expert to conduct in-depth analyses of existing waste data. The focus will be on identifying hotspots and best practices across locations, sectors, waste types, and disposal methods. The role also involves engaging with internal stakeholders to communicate findings and drive initiatives that enable structural improvements in circular economy practices.
Role and Responsibilities
As an EHS Sustainability Data Analyst, you will focus on analyzing waste data to identify opportunities for improvement and providing actionable insights to internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities include:
- Performing in-depth analyses of collected waste data to identify improvement areas.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive waste reduction and circular economy initiatives.
- Conducting data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Supporting sustainability improvement projects within business sectors.
Education and Experience
- BSc / MSc degree in an environmental or waste management-related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in sustainability, environmental management, or waste analysis.
- Proven skills in data analysis, with the ability to derive actionable insights.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to engage with and influence internal teams.
- Familiarity with data tools and analysis software such as PowerBI and/or Spotfire is advantageous.
Key Qualifications
- Expertise in waste management or environmental topics is a strong preference.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
The project has a minimum duration of 6 months with a possible extension.
Freelance is also an option.
