Network Security Administrator - F/M/D Remuneration : €65K - €70 K (all-inclusive) + home office options + trip to Hamburg (if not based in there) once per quarter Location : Hamburg/Ems, Germany (part-time possible) My Client is a leading technology company focused on growth and innovation in the IT sector. They are expanding their team and are looking for a "Network Security Administrator" to support their cross-location administration efforts, particularly with Fortinet systems. This position has been open since July due to continued growth within the company, and they are seeking a skilled individual to join their existing team of professionals in Hamburg and Ems. Responsibilities : Firewall Administration: You will manage and maintain firewall systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. VPN Connections: You will be responsible for building and managing VPN connections, facilitating secure remote access. Monitoring and Patching: You will conduct firewall patching and monitoring, ensuring compliance with security protocols. Rule Adjustments: You will adjust and maintain firewall rules as needed to enhance security measures. Requirements : Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years in Network Security (especially firewall administration); experience with Fortinet is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficient in building VPN connections, conducting rollouts, and firewall patching. Languages: Good communication skills in German and English are mandatory.
