DevOps Engineer

Join Deutsche Bank’s Surveillance and Regulatory Technology team, where we develop db-SIS—a core tool that monitors millions of transactions daily to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. db-SIS is built with an event-driven, Kafka-based architecture and operates as microservices on OpenShift and Google Cloud’s Kubernetes clusters, enhancing IT processes through automation.

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the GCP migration, manage CI/CD pipelines, oversee Kubernetes clusters, set up Helm charts, and troubleshoot deployments. You’ll work hands-on with our tech stack, contributing to the security and stability of our environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• GCP Environment Management: Ensure the smooth operation of GCP environments from development to production.
• CI/CD Optimization: Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD processes and local scripts.
• Documentation & Support: Document new features, create runbooks, and troubleshoot issues.
• Infrastructure Deployment: Manage deployments across environments with Terraform.

Tech Stack:

• Cloud: OpenShift, Google Cloud
• Containers: Kubernetes, Helm, Docker
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins
• IaC: Terraform
• Build: Java, Gradle

What You’ll Bring:

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Linux, and scripting languages (Bash, Groovy).
• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, basic networking, and at least one public cloud (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• A collaborative mindset, eager to support and learn with team members.
