Java Developer – Hybrid Role in Stockholm

Role Overview

As a Java Developer, you will work in agile teams to develop digital solutions that benefit society and drive technical innovation. The role focuses on delivering long-term projects, particularly in socially critical sectors such as public services, healthcare, and energy. You’ll collaborate with passionate colleagues and contribute to technology upgrades for clients using modern tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Participate in agile team deliveries and closely collaborate with colleagues and customers.
• Conduct unit and integration testing using tools like JUnit and Mockito.
• Manage version control using Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Work on system integrations via REST or SOAP and event-driven messaging with tools like Kafka or JMS.
• Utilize Docker and container platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• 5–8 years of experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, unit/integration testing, Git, Maven, or Gradle.
• Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Familiarity with databases and frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
