Backend Developer

Axonlab is a pan-European In vitro Diagnostics and medical IT company with activities in Applied Science. We're building the most innovative and active pan-European online medtech eCommerce platform which will connect our production and integration services with hospitals, medical practices, laboratories, and research centers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in backend development within a software/tech environment;
• 2+ years of experience with PHP;
• Strong technical expertise in software engineering and backend architecture;
• Hands-on experience in developing and optimizing REST APIs;
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain efficient interfaces between systems;
• Solid understanding of agile project management methodologies, especially SCRUM;
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a focus on results-oriented thinking and problem-solving;
• Enthusiastic about tackling daily challenges and innovating solutions;
• Very good command of English; knowledge of German is a plus;
• Bonus: Experience with Shopware is a significant advantage
  
  

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and optimization of robust backend systems;
• Implement and maintain APIs and data handling mechanisms, ensuring efficiency and scalability;
• Ensure high quality of code and efficient processes within our architecture;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend functionalities seamlessly with frontend systems;
• Evaluate and incorporate current technology trends into the platform;
• Innovate and propose improvements during bi-weekly Tech&Coffee sessions, contributing and refining your ideas with the team
