IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE WITH A 3-YEAR DURATION.
Main responsibility and tasks
- Contribute and participate in EU project ICON related working tasks, e.g.
- Contribute to development of applications for fiber sensing using telecom networks
- Field-experiments planning, installation and performing experiment
- Analysis of data from fiber sensing equipment and field-experiments
- Development of software for fiber sensing data analysis and pattern recognition
- Participate in ICON consortium meetings, contribute to reports and scientific papers
- Operation, planning and development of optical core network (DWDM)
- Presales tasks from the sales team
- Design and delivery of customer solutions
- Contribute to a positive work environment in the team/department
Qualification requirements
- Education - The person have a Ph.D., Master of science or similar within physics, electronic engineering, photonics, signal processing, telecommunication or similar.
- Experience - The person may be a newly educated candidate or have work experience from working with optical communication networks and/or optical fiber sensing.
