Android Developer

Our Dublin based client are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing high end and best in class Android applications.
• Collaboration with the full engineering team and product owners to identify key software solutions to solve complex industry and company problems
• Take a quality-first approach to software development
• Conduct code reviews with the wider development team, including security checks
• Mentoring and guiding junior members of the team.
• Participate in technical interviews.

Qualifications and Experience:

• You must be an Android developer, with a minimum of 5 years of mobile development experience.
• Hands on experience developing apps in Kotlin
• Experienced in designing and architecting Android apps with an understanding of various design patterns.
• Experience with use of CV / CD frameworks.
• Have a portfolio of apps in Google Play store as work history and reference points.
• Experience working with Bluetooth is desirable.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
