Senior Android Developer

As a Senior Android Developer, you will make an impact by delivering high quality mobile apps that push the boundaries of innovation. You will be a valued member of our Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with our Engagement Delivery Lead in our banking and financial services practice.

In this role, you will

• Build feature-rich Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Craft and develop apps that apply REST APIs and tools like Swagger.
• Stay ahead of the general mobile landscape, including new technologies and architectural trends.
• Manage the full lifecycle of Android app development, ensuring quality and scalability.
• Coordinate efficiently within Agile teams to meet project goals.
  
  

What You’ll Need To Succeed (required Skills)

• A proven track record of 6 years or more in Android app development.
• Expert in publishing enterprise-grade apps in the Google Play Store.
• Deep understanding of the Android ecosystem and its frameworks.

Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON.
