Senior Payments Product Manager – London – £110-150k + Bonus + Equity

Are you an experienced Payments Product Manager with a passion for innovation, strategy, and cross-border financial services?

We're looking for a Product Manager who likes to break the mould of payments to join a dynamic Banking-as-a-Service company at a pivotal moment. In this high-impact role, you will shape the future of payments, drive strategic initiatives, and craft solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in international banking.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of payment strategies across Faster Payments, SEPA, TARGET2, Fedwire, and other international payment systems.
• Collaborate with the executive committee to create and execute the roadmap for new cross-border payment propositions, including SWIFT vs. API implementations and the launch of EU and USD account services.
• Drive concept-to-MVP planning, with execution-ready strategies for platform scalability, regulatory compliance, and innovative delivery timelines.
• Be a hands-on leader, navigating dynamic financial landscapes to identify market gaps and craft solutions tailored to client needs.
• Work cross-functionally to implement strategies, align engineering and execution teams, and ensure timely delivery of payment products.

What We're Looking For

• Expertise: Deep knowledge of international payments systems (SEPA, TARGET2, FEDWIRE).
• Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to craft and execute payment strategies from concept to MVP, including managing complex projects with tight timelines.
• Innovation: A proactive approach to identifying and solving industry challenges, with the ability to dictate and execute your own strategy.
• Experience: Previous success in leading cross-border payment projects, launching foreign currency account solutions, and scaling platforms for global banking needs.
• Mindset: A forward-thinking and GSD attitude that balances industry knowledge with building innovative, client-focused solutions.
