Born is the storytelling creative agency. A Sydney-based, full-service creative agency, and B&T's Emerging Agency of the Year. We believe brands are the great storytellers of our time and that every part of a brand tells a story. In short, we build brands, and campaigns for those brands. And campaigns for brands that already exist. Our services include strategy, branding, graphic design, video production, campaigns, and more.

About the Role:

We’re on the lookout for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team full-time at our Surry Hills office in NSW. As part of our creative team, you’ll work across a diverse portfolio of clients, from a leading nationwide bank to Australia’s top holiday parks provider, to a global nature company, and beyond. Your work will span various mediums and platforms, including branding, web design, print design, social media assets, digital banners, campaign collateral, OOH, and slide presentations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Ideally, you have around a year of agency experience, but we’re also open to fresh talent ready to dive into the industry - you have a portfolio brimming with beautiful designs that shows off your skills.
• Technical Skills: You’ve qualified in some kind of Design qualification, and you’re confident using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Google Workspace.
• Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for detail and can spot when something is even a pixel out of place.
• Proactive Mindset: You’re driven and a self-starter, eager to tackle new challenges. If you don’t know how to do something, you’ll give it your best shot before asking for help.
• Ownership: You take pride in your work and are ready to own projects from start to finish.
• Passion for Design: You’re enthusiastic about staying on top of design trends and technologies, and you're constantly looking to upskill and develop.
• Ambition: You’re hungry for recognition and design awards—we’ll give you the platform to achieve that.
• Versatility: You’re flexible and happy to take on a variety of tasks that fall outside your day-to-day, from admin tasks to motion graphics to pre-production for video shoots to UX/UI design.
