Our client is going through an exciting phase of transformation and modernisation, with the aim of ensuring their tech products are digitally innovative and customer centric. They embarked on their Agile transformation journey last year, starting with the technology side of the business and now they are ready to roll this out to the broader operations and service side of the organisation. They are seeking an Agile Coach with experience in a similar operating model transformation to help them achieve this.
The Role
- Guide Operations and Service teams (including Scrum Masters) in adopting and maturing their Kanban practices.
- Facilitate the implementation of flow-based delivery, focusing on optimizing work-in-progress and minimizing bottlenecks.
- Partner with teams to design and evolve their Kanban boards, workflows, and metrics.
- Coach leadership and stakeholders to understand and support a pull-based system.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and feedback loops to improve processes and collaboration.
- Establish metrics and feedback mechanisms (e.g., lead time, cycle time) to track and enhance team performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and learning.
What We’re Looking For
- This role would suit someone with prior experience as a Service Delivery/Service Operations Manager who has transitioned into an Agile Coaching role.
- ITIL certification and Kanban experience are also required.
- Proven experience as an Agile Coach rolling out Agile transformation to operations & service teams
- Strong facilitation, mentoring, and coaching skills with diverse stakeholders
- Deep understanding of change management and organizational design principles.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills to navigate resistance and inspire adoption.
- A growth mindset and ability to adapt Agile principles to unique organizational challenges.
