About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the transformative company-wide information management uplift. You will be responsible for the design, build and implementation of information management strategy, including migration to SharePoint and data governance practices across a group with diverse information management needs.
This opportunity is a 12-month fixed term assignment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the migration to SharePoint, including data transfers, permission settings, and seamless user adoption.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring technical work packages are effectively planned, monitored, and delivered on time.
- Provide oversight and governance of the respective project
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategies that enhance the user experience
- Drive the successful implementation and adoption of SharePoint and data governance across the business.
- Drive benefit realization and provide visibility and reporting to demonstrate.
- Ensure the success of the delivery
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of information architecture principles and best practices.
- Experience in designing and implementing large-scale SharePoint migrations
- Experience in large-scale data governance projects. This includes classifying Sensitive Information Types (SITs), implementation of sensitivity labels, retention policies, and data loss prevention (DLP) measures.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and track timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Significant end-to-end project management experience in IT and/or Fintech organisations.
