Join our federal team and play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure for our client's new Canberra office!
Your new role
- Design and Implementation: Create and set up the IT network infrastructure for our new office.
- Hardware Installation: Install and configure network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Network Monitoring: Keep an eye on network performance to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve network issues and outages promptly.
- Security: Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and other protective measures.
- Updates and Maintenance: Keep network systems up to date with the latest technologies and patches.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and documentation.
- User Support: Provide network support to users experiencing network-related issues.
- Compliance: Ensure network operations comply with industry regulations and standards.
Technical Skills
- Cisco Expertise: Advanced experience with Cisco Switches.
- Network Experience: At least 3 years of experience with IT infrastructure networks, including IP network design, troubleshooting, Wi-Fi configuration, fibre and optics, switching, and routing.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in IT infrastructure network for office relocation.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
- Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure network for office relocation.
- At least 3 years of experience with IT infrastructure networks, including IP network design, troubleshooting, Wi-Fi configuration, fibre and optics, switching, and routing.
- Candidate must be an Australian Citizen and have a minimum of Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance or be able to obtain one.
