For this position, you will be working with one of our high-profile clients from the European institutions.

Your Role

  • Development and maintenance of software applications.
  • Building reusable code for future use while ensuring high code integrity and organization.
  • Developing and integrating software components, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Understanding and implementing security and data protection measures.
  • Participating in the design and creation of scalable software solutions.
  • Troubleshooting, testing, and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
  • Producing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Integrating systems seamlessly while assisting with deployment and configuration.
  • Compiling and analyzing data, processes, and codes to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

Who We Think You Are

Knowledge and Competences

  • PHP/Laravel expertise with strong programming experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Web Security, including authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Solid understanding of key design principles for web applications.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
  • Knowledge in GIS, Front-end, Back-end, or Full-stack development:
    • GIS: Geospatial data analysis and support for developers interfacing with GIS systems.
    • Front-End Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, Typescript, Vue.js, KendoUI, and Bootstrap for responsive designs.
    • Back-End Development: Skilled in developing web services (REST or SOAP), web application security, and SQL.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
  • Respect for development standards, best practices, deadlines, and allocated budgets.
  • Proficient in UML, BPMN, and programming languages such as:
    • JavaScript
    • Java (Spring/Struts/Hibernate frameworks)
    • ColdFusion (FuseBox framework)
    • PHP (Symfony framework/Laravel, Drupal portal).


Tools and Methodologies

  • Proficiency with tools such as Git, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Nexus, Crucible, Jenkins, Sonar, and GitHub.
  • Experience with integrated development environments:
    • Eclipse Foundation Eclipse
    • IntelliJ IDEA
    • JetBrains PhpStorm.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and platforms like Atlassian tools, GitHub, and ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies:
    • PM² and PM² Agile.
  • Expertise in Agile Software Development: Kanban & Scrum.

Technical Certification(s)

  • Oracle Certified Professional (Java EE 8, SE 17 or above).
  • PM² Agile certification.
  • BPMN 2.0 certification.
