Senior Project Manager

I am working with a client operator company who are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis in Brussels, Belgium.

The client is looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience managing CAPEX and OPEX projects in the bioplastic industry. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the management of an onsite engineering and projects team.

The client is an asset owner operating a bioplastic plant based in Brussels, Belgium. You will join their permanent management team.

START: January, February, March 2025

SALARY: €80,000-€125,000 per annum + great package (company car, pension scheme, insurance, holidays)

LOCATION: Brussels, Belgium (1 days WFH)

The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience as an Engineering or Projects Manager, covering complex projects in highly regulated industries.

The client is looking for a technician, a project manager who can supervise the technical teams (both external and internal) on utility and raw material issues.

For example, they should be able to discuss with subcontractors about steam production, validate technical solutions, and then, with our CFO, assist in negotiating the contract. The same goes for wastewater and stock.

Moreover, for the Raw Material part, they will manage engineering and validate the proposed technical solutions for the stock of by-products (biomass/gypsum) and sulfuric acid, etc.

Senior Project Manager

· 5+ years of relevant work experience managing technical or projects teams

· Technical engineering background – electromechanical, process considered.

· Chemical, Process, Polymer, (Bio)Plastic industry experience

· Greenfield or Brownfield projects experience

· Working exp for an end client/asset owner

English & French (Must Speak fluently)
