Join our startup as we merge cutting-edge AI with fashion industry innovation! We're looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with a specialization in Generative AI to help develop and enhance image generation technologies. The position is part of an Academy-Industry collaboration between Shootify and Fondazione Bruno Kessler.

About Shootify

At Shootify, our technology enables the conversion of a single garment photo into an array of fully styled fashion shoots. This capability not only cuts costs and increases efficiency but also provides brands with a myriad of creative outputs—from e-commerce visuals to social media content and editorial images. As we grow, our goal is to empower creative directors and marketers with the tools to create the diverse and personalized content that the future of fashion demands.

What You'll Do

• Develop and prototype generative models to innovate within the fashion industry’s image generation space.
• Engage with the latest research in AI and machine learning, translating new findings into practical, impactful applications.
• Write clean, efficient code in Python, leveraging PyTorch’s latest generative AI libraries.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Strong background in Machine Learning development.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and ML libraries such as diffusers for model development.
• Experience with generative approaches, especially diffusion models.
• Skilled in using and customizing tools such as ComfyUI and AUTOMATIC1111.
• Able to interpret academic research for practical application in developing novel AI solutions.
• Quick learner, adept at adopting new technologies and tools, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficient in data analysis and adept at developing robust machine learning models.
• Knowledgeable in MLOps practices, ensuring high standards of software development and model deployment.
• Nice to have: Bachelor’s or MSc degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
