Tasks

Drive platform development: Take ownership of the front-end development process to continuously enhance features and capabilities.
Build user-centered interfaces: Create intuitive, engaging, and accessible user experiences with a strong focus on functionality and ease of use.
Integrate new features: Seamlessly implement tools and functionalities into the existing tech stack to expand platform capabilities.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with backend developers to ensure smooth API integrations and efficient data flow.
Optimize performance: Continuously refine and improve platform performance through techniques like code splitting, lazy loading, and caching.
Enhance existing functionalities: Improve current platform features to maximize user experience and scalability.
Lay the groundwork for leadership: Prepare to take ownership of the front-end roadmap and mentor future team members, aiming to grow into a front-end lead role.

Requirements

4+ years of front-end development experience with advanced skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
Responsive design expertise: Proficient in modern CSS techniques (Grid, Flexbox, Media Queries) to create scalable, cross-device user interfaces with exceptional performance.
Strong UX/UI focus: Deep understanding of user-centered design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and delivering intuitive, responsive interfaces.
Performance optimization: Skilled in code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and improving load times to ensure scalability and a seamless user experience.
Attention to detail & quality assurance: High-quality standards with experience in testing tools like Jest, Cypress, and React Testing Library to ensure robust, maintainable code.
Design system collaboration: Familiarity with tools like Figma or Sketch and expertise in maintaining design systems (e.g., Storybook).
CI/CD & environments: Experience with GitLab CI/CD workflows and Dockerized environments for streamlined development.
Leadership potential: Passion for ownership with a drive to grow into a front-end lead role, mentoring others and steering technical decisions.
