About the job

Intellera consulting is currently recruiting for an Associate – Disruptive technologies (AI and GPAI, ML, IoT, blockchain, edge computing, quantum computing) to join its offices in Rome and /or Milan within the Policy Analysis.

Mission

We are looking for a motivated consultant to enrich our team and enhance our disruptive technologies policy analysis service. The candidate will contribute to the research and advisory work we carry out for national and international clients, both in the public and private sectors. Activities will include also process and organizational redesign to support our clients in governing disruptive technologies. We are interested in individuals who can demonstrate a real interest in EU policy and in responsible use of technology, combined with strong understanding of how disruptive technologies work, their logical functioning, and the risks they pose. A plus would be experience and knowledge of the AI Act and the European Digital Policy landscape, the ethical problems of AI and disruptive technologies, the possible techniques available for enforcing responsible use, risk management processes and procedures. Additional horizonal skills will be fundamental, such as excellent report writing skills, analytical and critical thinking, research capabilities. As a disruptive technology consultant, you will contribute to the shaping of artificial intelligence and data-driven organizations, fostering an ethical and responsible adoption.



Job Responsibilities / Your perspectives

Main responsibilities will include:

  1. Conduct research and analysis in the field of disruptive technology and responsible use of technology, especially for AI and GPAI
  2. Contribute to the definition of strategies to enabling, accelerating, and implementing ethically sound disruptive technologies within private and public organizations
  3. Contribute to the definition and implementation of disruptive technologies adoption operating models
  4. Support project team in delivering services to help public and private clients in governing AI and GPAI in a responsible way
  5. Contribute to report preparation and presentation to clients
  6. Deliver project work at high standards and within budget
  7. Contribute to proposal writing
  8. Collaborate with other project teams, external partners and stakeholders



Skills / Your unique strengths

  1. University master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or related discipline; alternatively University master’s degree in Digital Policies, European Policies, Digital Transformation in the Public Sector or related discipline
  2. PhD or post-graduate training in artificial intelligence, analytics, or other disruptive technology, or in ethics of technology, responsible use of technology or related topic is considered as a plus
  3. 1-3 years prior experience working in consultancy, in the field of data analysis and insights, or data and AI governance, or process and organizational redesign, or digital policy, or risk management
  4. Knowledge on with disruptive technologies (e.g. AI, GPAI, ML, blockchain, edge computing, quantum computing, 5G)
  5. Ability to conduct analysis and communicate findings in a clear and concisely manner to a diverse audience with different technical background and levels of seniority
  6. Experience of working with European and international public sector clients is desirable
  7. Effective stakeholder management and engagement skills
  8. Fluency in English and Italian (minimum C1, both oral and written)
  9. Enthusiasm and passion for your work
