Software developer internship

Grade Aid is an innovative EdTech startup focused on transforming classroom and homework preparation for teachers and students through the power of AI. We are on a mission to improve learning efficiency and empower educators with tailored tools that optimize classroom time and cater to individual learning needs.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Software Intern to join our team for 4-6 months. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about building impactful solutions in the education sector. As a Software Intern at Grade Aid, you will work closely with our development team on both frontend and backend projects, contributing to the evolution of our platform. The role could be both front end or back end. The position is not paid, but since we are a start-up there is the possibility to get a paid position if we secure funding or customers based on your work.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement new features.
• Work on the front end to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces or develop backend solutions to support our AI-driven platform and optimize performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues.

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning frameworks.
• Interest in EdTech and educational solutions.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Familiarity with backend technologies like Node.js, Django, or similar.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic database management (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).
• Passion for learning and working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Proficiency in English.
• Be situated in around Copenhagen, but is not a requirement.
