Support Engineer for Software Packaging Squad (L2-L3)

Strategic Staffing Solutions International's client is a Nordic bank headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, offering a wide range of financial services including retail banking, corporate banking, and asset management.

Being a part of our team, you will run Software Distribution support (L2-L3) on the workstation platform, troubleshoot mass deployment issues, and help colleagues across the company find answers to questions about applications. You will know how application packages are prepared and delivered. You will work with SCCM, PowerShell scripts, Sysinternals tools, and Zander.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure smooth software deployments and a stable applications environment on all company workstations:

• Provide support for packaged applications and software patching (L2-L3 incidents), troubleshoot root causes, produce resolutions, and fix application packages.
• Prepare and maintain a knowledge base (instructions and work guides) for L1 support teams, provide training for them.
• Run incident reduction plans, analyze trends, and resolve issues related to Java, Adobe, McAfee products, and applications like Firefox, Visio, Screenpresso.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in troubleshooting SCCM application mass deployment issues on Windows clients
• PowerShell scripting experience
• Knowledge of Windows OS architecture, file system, registry, log reading
• Good written and verbal English skills

NICE TO HAVE:

• Knowledge of Sysinternals tools would be an advantage

The offered salary is up to 2550 Eur/gross or 14-17 EUR/hour as an independent consultant.

The position is 1 year contract with possiblity to extend.
