Senior Cloud Security Engineer

We are actively seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will lead the design and architecture of a PII data platform using Google Cloud DLP, ensuring secure data handling, processing, and storage across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL. Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of a PII data platform using Google Cloud DLP, ensuring secure data handling, processing, and storage across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL
• Define and implement Google Cloud DLP policies for detecting, classifying, and protecting sensitive PII
• Architect data access strategies using Google IAM and VPC Service Controls to enforce column-level and row-level security for protecting sensitive PII in BigQuery and other GCP services
• Implement Google Cloud DLP’s data transformation techniques such as masking, tokenization, and encryption (using Cloud Key Management Service - KMS) to protect PII at rest and in transit
• Design solutions to ensure compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, leveraging Google Cloud DLP for automated compliance checks and audits across data stores like Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Dataproc
  
  
  

Requirements

• Direct Computer Science/Cybersecurity education (Bachelors+) or proven equivalent experience
• 3+ years of security experience with GCP domain
• Successfully executed at least one DLP project
• Hands-on experience with GCP services and a strong engineering background
• Successfully participated in at least one production project
• Understanding of concepts of a Software development process, cloud security, and their assessment methodologies
• Able to work closely with other project team roles (developers, BA, testers, architects, managers)
• B2+ English level proficiency
